ARDEN -- A love for the Lord and a desire to share the life-changing power of God's word transformed the life of a successful well-known business executive into an evangelical minister.
Adolph Coors IV was the guest speaker at a luncheon this week held in the sanctuary of Biltmore Baptist Church. He spoke about the business world from a Christian perspective as part of a tour of speaking engagements through the evangelistic association that he began when he left the family brewing business in 1979.
The first Adolph Coors came to America from Germany in 1868 with only seven pennies in his pocket, but armed with a knowledge of brewing beer he built a business that is recognized worldwide, his great-grandson Coors IV said.
